Business Unit Manager

Establishes entrepreneurial business unit with key partner relationships and is accountable for ensuring successful testing based solutions that provide the partners with profitable business growth and goal attainment through internet marketing platform.

  • Performs or commissions research to ensure that the company thoroughly understands the partners’ industry, market characteristics and business imperatives sufficient to assure the success of the research partnership engagements.
  • Prepares or approves partnership research strategies and engagement plans that lead to achievement of partnership engagement objectives.
  • Tracks and analyzes what does and does not work and translates what is learned into repeatable “Best Practices.”
  • Trains and educates partners, both on-site and through communication channels, to establish and sustain a culture of testing.

Must possess:

  • Experience with, and practical knowledge of the entrepreneurial process.
  • Experience with, and practical knowledge of marketing research, Internet marketing and/or strategies.
  • Working knowledge of web development, optimization, and search engine marketing.
  • Expert user knowledge of the Microsoft Office products MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.

Education/Training - An MBA, or BA in Business or Marketing or Five+ years experience in online testing, business growth, or statistical testing and a working knowledge of sales, marketing, mathematics, economics and information systems.  HTML, media buying and paid search marketing is a plus.

MarketingExperiments, a division of MECLABS, Inc., based in Jacksonville Beach, FL, is seeking a Web Designer to create, optimize and program various web sites, landing pages, email and other online marketing communications for multiple Fortune 500 partners. Applying our patented Online Marketing Communications Optimization Methodologies, the Web Designer will support several Analysts and Strategists in optimizing existing and new partner web pages through a fine blend of design, layout, features and functional improvements.

The Web Designer will work in a creative, open environment interfacing with multiple internal and external teams. Job Summary

MarketingSherpa is seeking a highly organized, self-starter to produce new, cutting edge Business Conferences, Summits, member events and seminars targeting top executives in the marketing industry. This includes six+ real-world events per year and multiple webinar and virtual events. You will need to create summits on niche, hot topics through industry/marketplace research and coordination with editorial. For each event, you will be expected to strategize themes and formats, recruit speakers, direct location selection, and coordinate with editorial, ticket marketing, sponsorship sales, and an event production team. In addition, you will budget, stage flow/content of presentations, and produce promotional content for the web and enewsletter.You will manage a sponsorship sales rep and an events production staff including one senior manager, one intern/speaker coordinator plus any on-site temps.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in inventing and programming premium-value conferences ($1000 + per ticket) ­­- prefer minimum of 3-5 years experience with budget creation, speaker recruitment, and estimating attendance.
  • Must possess strong writing, research, and interpersonal networking skills.
  • User knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.

You will help to identify, develop, and maintain marketing-based partnerships with associations, publishers, event producers, vendors and other organizations. You will be required to identify areas of mutual opportunity and develop win-win scenarios with prospective partners, while assisting in the development of guidelines for optimal partnering. This position requires of-the-moment knowledge of publications, reviews, market trends and special events that affect our industry. Business Unit Manager for Paid Certification

Summary

Establishes entrepreneurial business unit to achieve rapid and successful growth of our Professional Certification training programs for marketers. Is accountable for ensuring best–of–breed content provision, establishing and overseeing marketing strategy, and setting and attaining profitable business growth by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the spokesperson and primary advocate and champion for the Professional Certification Program

Senior Analyst

Summary

Develops, manages and presents marketing research for MarketingSherpa’s Benchmark Guides and other research-related products, publications and events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works with Research Director to develop the strategic goals and publication dates of the Benchmark Guides and other research-related products, publications and events and ensures schedules and market research objectives are met.
  • Prepares reports, including charts, graphs and commentary, and presents recommendations for action plans to management.
  • Originates, negotiates and develops relationships with research partners to generate data for Benchmark Guides and other research-related products, publications and events.

  • Analyzes current research and statistical techniques, and evaluates the latest research developments to develop new market research methods.
  • Researches market conditions and conducts feasibility studies to determine market demand for existing and new products or services.
